RF-SMART helps North American Coal power into 2012!
Author: Nicole Kukwa
Happy New Year! As many are settling into 2012, RF-SMART has been very busy! We are happy to announce that North American Coal recently went live with RF-SMART E1 at two of their mining operations in North Dakota!
North American Coal Corporation (NYSE:NC), mines and markets lignite coal primarily as fuel for power generation and provides selected value-added mining services for other natural resources companies. Corporate headquarters are located in Dallas, Texas. North American Coal operates surface lignite mines in North Dakota, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas, and also provides dragline mining services for independently owned limerock quarries in Florida.
NAC is using service work orders for ongoing maintenance/repair of large mining equipment. Items added to these orders will often generate purchase orders for the parts. When the warehouse personnel receives the purchase order, the user is notified of the associated work order and it allows the user to immediately issue the material to the order without any additional transactional input.
While many companies slow down during the holiday season our wonderful and supportive team at RF-SMART continues working hard! Check out the photo below with two of our team members at the North Dakota location:
